What fits, and what is left over

Enter your pallet and box dimensions. The simulator draws the load in 3D and reports the pallet positions used, how much of the usable volume is filled, and how much floor length, headroom and payload is still free.

The point of it

Drawn to the same 30° projection the simulator's own canvas uses, from the configuration running in the frame above.

A fill percentage will not tell you where the room is

Open floor at the doors and a band of headroom over the whole load are both “23% full”, and they need opposite decisions. One takes another row; the other takes taller pallets, or nothing at all.

329.6 in free floor 29.3 in headroom
Six of the eighteen pallet positions in a 40' HC, four box layers on each. The simulator reports 329.6 in of free floor beyond the last row and 29.3 in of headroom above the load.

Positions assume 48 × 45 in pallets with the 48 in side along the unit and no rotation, which is the rule single-part mode uses.

Any of these can be overridden with your own interior dimensions and usable volume. Stacking pallets multiplies the last column by the tiers that fit under the ceiling — the full pallet matrix covers six footprints.

Two modes

One box size, or a real order

Single part

One box size on one pallet type, repeated through the unit. Set the box layers per pallet and how many pallet tiers to stack; both are capped at what the ceiling allows, and the simulator says so when it has capped them.

  • Full or half pallet, wood or plastic, or your own dimensions
  • Box layers per pallet, capped to the height that fits
  • Pallet tiers, capped to the used stack height
  • Parts per box and weight per part, in kg or lb, both optional
  • The better of the two box orientations on the pallet deck

Multiple parts

Exact quantities for several part types at once. Each part keeps its own pallet type and its own pallets — two part types never share a pallet.

  • Quantity per part, counted in parts or in boxes
  • A ceiling on layers per pallet, set per part
  • Whether that part's pallets may be stacked on each other
  • Separate totals for parts, boxes and pallets per part type
77 in 4 box layers, 1 tier 82 in 2 box layers, 2 tiers
Layers stack boxes on one pallet; tiers stack loaded pallets on each other. Four layers on a single pallet stands 77 in. The same eight boxes split across two stacked pallets stands 82 in, because the second pallet adds its own 5 in deck. In a 40' HC that is harmless; in a 94.3 in standard container it spends 5 of the 17 in you had left.
Scope

What it does not do

It is a visualizer. It shows one configuration at a time and draws the consequence of it. It does not choose for you.

  • It does not recommend a transport unit, a best fit or an optimal load.
  • It does not check securement, axle loads, weight distribution or legal limits.
  • Payload is measured against a single 20,200 kg limit for every unit, so on a 20' container or a flatbed read the weight meter as an estimate.
  • Your setup and saved scenarios stay in your browser's local storage. They are not uploaded.
